Where Do Twitter Bots Tweet From?
This map shows where bots following different news publications are tweeting from based on information from their biographies on Twitter. For each publication, I took a random sample of over 300 followers and analyzed each follower using the Botometer API. I then used Beautiful Soup to scrape each bot’s Twitter account for additional information.
